I recently started paying attention to a DIY label based in Liverpool called Edils Recordings… I’m really glad I did, because I’m making all kinds of ear-pleasing discoveries.

Double Echo are the kind of band that make my heart sing. Its nostalgic sure, but done in the best possible way. The vocal on Black Morning has that same baritone drone that Curtis had, its guitars collide in a dark unrelenting fashion, whilst everything is washed down with 80’s synth, followed by a quick cigarette outside in the rain.
