Thom Bellini is a member of Manchester’s Egyptian Hip Hop. A friend of the band that was drafted in as a session musician, eventually becoming a fully fledged member contributing to the creative output.
Bellini’s talent is obvious and RannnA has an early Animal Collective/Panda Bear feel about it, with a kaleidoscope of sounds and melodies that are both innovative and accessible.
Debut EHH album ‘Good Don’t Sleep’ was a critically acclaimed success and I’m very excited to see the direction they take next. In the meantime we have many solo/side projects to enjoy (Aldous RH, Obsidian Pond) that show in full colour detail why this band are worth your investment.
