The Weakest Link, hailing from Denny in Scotland, here forge some of the most oddly affecting music I’ve encountered in a while.

Pitch-shifted vocal mesmerically punctuates swirly organ and acoustic guitar; lo-fi sounds which surprisingly manage to be surreal and lasting while simultaneously avoiding any cartoon-like cliche. After a while it ceases to be about listening and more about feeling. Amongst the imperfection, there is love. Okay, the love eventually gets assimilated by a massive unstoppable saw wave, but we’ll always have the memories. Won’t we?
