I recently discovered a series of demo’s by Manchester based artist Gwen Osmond – a documentation of her darkest desires, they team with tension and ethereal wonder. Bringing to mind the work of Anja Plaschg (Soap & Skin), Follow Me Down is a beautifully woven piano composition, giving her voice the room to breathe. With an EP being promised, and hints of additional experimentation using loop stations / synthesisers, I’m excited to see what emerges in the next few months.
