When I first moved to Manchester 6 years ago, I found myself being drawn to its blossoming folk scene – Red Deer Club and Humble Soul were introducing me to amazing artists like Nancy Elizabeth, Liz Green and Denis Jones… and I responded by taking my first steps as a promoter.

And so to the present: Folkin El is an artist I will hopefully be seeing a lot more of in the coming months… still largely undiscovered, Elin Rossiter has a stunning voice (reminiscent of a certain Laura Marling) that sounds wise beyond her years. Make Your Tracks is simply magnificent.
